IFS Therapy
Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a therapeutic approach particularly effective in treating trauma by recognizing the mind as composed of various inner parts or subpersonalities, each holding emotions and experiences connected to past traumatic events. In trauma treatment, IFS facilitates healing by helping individuals identify and compassionately engage with these protective or wounded parts, fostering a deeper understanding of their roles and intentions. Through guided exploration, individuals strengthen their core Self—a calm, compassionate center—which gently leads their internal parts toward integration and resolution. This approach promotes lasting recovery from trauma by easing inner conflict, soothing emotional pain, and restoring psychological harmony and resilience.
