Hi, I’m Sydnee.
My name is Sydnee Wells and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with specific training in trauma, addiction, and mental health. I have a direct and compassionate approach with my clients and enjoy supporting them on their journey to health and wellness. I work to create an open, honest, and supportive environment.
I specialize in working with young adults and adolescents treating addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. I am EMDR trained to assist in post-traumatic growth. In the process of helping individuals, it can be helpful to include the family. I am trained in Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT) in which we look at attachment structures within the family to support growth in those relationships. I am trained in the Gorski Relapse Prevention Method to work with those who have relapsed in their addiction or alcoholism.
I have experience in the field of adolescent mental health and substance use disorders. I have worked with diverse populations, including those from the LGBTQIA+ community. I have also supported many clients in developing healthy relationships and connections using a client-centered approach. I have my master’s degree in social work from West Chester University, and am constantly furthering my knowledge through trainings on the most recent therapy techniques. I look forward to aiding you as we work toward your goals.
