Hi, I’m Tracy.
I am a dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor and LPC Candidate with a passion for helping individuals navigate substance use disorders, trauma, and co-occurring mental health challenges. My approach to counseling is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I see clients in both Ardmore and Center City Philadelphia.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, a Master of Science in Elementary Education, and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, along with Level I Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) certification. My diverse background allows me to integrate clinical expertise with a spiritually grounded, person-centered approach to healing.
In my work with individuals and groups, I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which supports clients in processing unresolved trauma and restoring emotional balance.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and Advanced Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist (RPCS), I incorporate the Gorski Relapse Prevention Model to help individuals recognize early warning signs, understand relapse patterns, and develop sustainable strategies for long-term recovery. I believe that healing involves not only addressing behaviors, but also nurturing purpose, identity, and inner strength.
I am especially passionate about working with BIPOC clients, as I believe access to quality, compassionate mental health care is paramount. I strive to create a supportive and affirming environment where clients from all backgrounds feel safe, respected, and empowered in their healing process.
For clients who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate spiritual care and faith-based principles into the therapeutic process. I honor each person’s belief system and create space for meaning-making, restoration, and hope as part of the healing journey.
I am known for my warm, grounded presence and my ability to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel truly seen and heard. My goal is to walk alongside you as you rediscover your strength, rebuild your life, and move toward lasting healing.
Outside of my professional role, I am a devoted wife and mother of two adult sons. I enjoy spending time with loved ones, practicing yoga, crocheting, traveling, and relaxing by the beach. I reside in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.
I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, restoration, and renewal. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help you get started.
