Hi, Iām Ariel.
My name is Ariel Peleg -Globig (she/her) and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), specifically trained to work with children and adolescents. My goal is to help children and adolescents navigate the challenges of today's childhood and support their parents in the process. I believe in helping children build emotional muscles with which they can not only address current difficulties but also tackle future challenges.
I have received my masters in clinical social work with focus on children and adolescents from the university of Michigan, and have been working for over 15 years with children experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, grief, and trauma.
I use various treatment modalities, such as EMDR, play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) to help my clients and their families.
Much of my work was done in schools, and I am very familiar with navigating the various supports schools may offer. My work with children and adolescents always include work with the systems that support them - their families, schools, and activities.
I speak English and Hebrew. In my private time I enjoy art, theatre, cinema, reading books, hiking, and traveling around the world.
I am looking forward to support your child/adolescent. If you have any questions for me or would like to discuss getting started, I would be happy to have a free phone consultation with you.
I currently see clients in our Main Line, Ardmore location.
