Hi, Iām Amanda.
Hello and welcome! My name is Amanda Tuttle (she/her) and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and South Carolina. I provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families who are looking for someone to work alongside them, and to help navigate current mental health needs.
It is no secret how hard life can be. There are pressures coming at us from everywhere. Work, school, family, relationships-the list may seem endless! It can be difficult to cope with these stressors, life transitions, or large life events that are thrown our way.
I specialize in trauma focused therapy for those who are needing the support, education, and skills to work through disturbing and distressing life events. Some may have been large and intense, while others may have been smaller and more nuanced, but just as upsetting. I want to work with you in discovering the best approach to heal and for you to be your most authentic selves.
I received my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University in 2016. While I have spent most of my education and career focusing on trauma, I also have substantial experience with a wide array of mental illness such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, eating disorders, and more. I am an EMDR therapist and utilize other techniques such as CBT, Family Systems, and other trauma focused therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Whatever it is that you may be struggling with, there is always hope. I am here to help you find the tools to manage your stressors and optimize the life you live. Through our therapeutic relationship we can work together to discover your goals and achieve them. I offer a free 15 minute initial consultation to chat and explore if we may be a good fit. At this time I am only offering telehealth sessions for the foreseeable future.
